S. A. Justice is a pen name for a South African Citizen and writer. S. A. Justice writes about inequality, policy and how laws work in practice – not just on paper. This web site grew out of a simple question: if we’re serious about fairness, can we afford to ignore who is actually poor today and who is already part of a wealthy elite?

The aim is not to draft policy for government. It is to make it harder for anyone – in politics, business or media – to speak about “empowerment” without looking honestly at who pays, who benefits and who is left out.

The book is intentionally short, focused and based on official data, so that readers can argue with the facts rather than with rumours or slogans.
